Soccer isn't just fun -- it's healthful, body-building exercise. For teens, soccer is one of the most effective impact sports for building bone density -- considered crucial for healthy bone development -- combining weight-bearing exercise and the repetitive impact of running and jumping.

For more than a decade, Cabot Creamery has been in the forefront of educating our youth about the importance of calcium for healthy bone development. But good eating habits are not enough. For strong bones, exercise must go hand in hand with consuming calcium through dairy.

That's why the farmers who own Cabot sponsored a Gold Medal Soccer Clinic to give middle school soccer coaches first-hand, world-class soccer drills.

The clinic was run by Julie Foudy -- captain and 17-year veteran of the U.S. Women's National Soccer Team, Gold Medalist in the 1996 and 2004 Olympic Games, and "Soccer Player of the Decade" (LA Times). And by Ian Sawyers, hugely successful college (Stanford) and professional coach, and currently Coach and General Manager of the NY/NJ Sky Blue Women's Soccer Team.

You will love using these workouts with your team!

The free DVD kit comes with a great tip sheet on nutrition for performance and recipes for your young athletes emphasizing the importance of eating healthy for the active and growing body.
