1 pound ground beef
1 tablespoon mild or hot chili powder
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 (15-ounce) can pinto beans, drained
1 (8-ounce) can roasted garlic or plain tomato sauce
Salt to taste
4 toasted sesame hamburger buns
4 ounces Cabot Shredded Monterey Jack (about 1 cup)
1. In large skillet, cook ground beef until no longer pink, breaking it up with spoon. Add chili powder and cumin and cook 1 minute longer.
2. Add beans and tomato sauce and stir until heated through. Season with salt. Divide mixture among buns, topping with cheese.
