Summary: Full - time position available to work 3rd shift (10 pm – 6:30 am) to perform all phases of mechanical, electrical and plumbing repairs to the building, including plant equipment. These repairs will be performed with a sense of urgency and accuracy to help minimize / ensure there are no disruptions to plant operations.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • • Perform preventative and routine maintenance on equipment and on the building.
  • • Complete all work in a timely manner with the expected level of quality and pride.
  • • Check operational equipment throughout the plant periodically during the shift to identify potential problems and/or areas of concern, and to minimize / eliminate instances of failure.
  • • Thoroughly troubleshoot all problems and areas of concern.
  • • Immediately and effectively communicate all problems and concerns with the supervisor.
  • • Work in a professional manner with all employees and with outside contractors, regardless of the situation.
  • • Attend and successfully complete various training classes throughout the year, as assigned.
  • • Knowledge of and willingness to learn the startup, shut down and repair of boilers.
  • • Capably use a computer to retrieve work orders, to sign off on work completed, and to reorder parts used for daily repairs.
  • • Must be available to be reached by home or cell phone when needed for assistance.
Qualifications
  • • High school diploma or GED is required, along with at least two years mechanical experience or an equivalent vocational background.
  • • Must have proven mechanical ability. Previous electrical and welding experience is a plus.
  • • Ideal candidate has previous experience working in a manufacturing / production plant environment.
  • • Must be able to work independently and effectively with minimal supervision.
  • • Able to work on and successfully complete multiple tasks with a strong attention to detail.
  • • Must have proper hand tools needed to fulfill job responsibilities.

Summary: This full-time, salaried position is based in our Middlebury plant. The successful applicant must ensure costs are captured accurately as incurred at each stage of production, will participate, understand and explain all plant spending and variances, and will function as an on-site financial resource to plant management.

Summary: The Quality Assurance Supervisor will work closely with the Quality Assurance Manager to lead the company’s compliance for food safety, quality and customer expectations. Individual will assist in monitoring and enhancing the SQF program as an operating platform; coordinate food safety, sanitation, and quality audit / follow up processes; work with stakeholders to identify gaps and implement robust solutions; and provide technical oversight to plant departmental Managers, Supervisors and work area Leads. This position will play a major leadership role in quality and food safety programs for all Manufacturing and Packaging Plant products.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • • Oversee laboratory tests on raw milk, manufactured products, and plant samples in a timely and accurate manner so as to assure that Agri-Mark’s quality standards are consistently met.
  • • Keep accurate and complete records of all tests performed and report to management any results which do not meet quality standards.
  • • Oversee preparation for certification of Cabot Manufacturing Plant Lab.
  • • Participate in annual split sample program administered by the Department of Agriculture in order to assure continued certification of the laboratory by the State of Vermont.
