Tour Where it All Began

At our Visitors Center in Cabot, where we began in 1919, you can join a factory tour, watch talented cheese makers create our award-winning cheddars, and enjoy plenty of samples — all in one of the most scenic spots in America. Our visitors say the drive alone is worth it!

While you're here:

• Take our guided tour and view our award-winning cheese as it's being made. You'll learn a ton about cheese making, and Cabot's history — not to mention a bit about Vermont agriculture.
• Following the tour, you're invited to nibble our many varieties of cheeses, including the World's Best Cheddar and Best Flavored Cheddar.
• Check out the Weekly Specials and also the Cabot Activity Book. Kids, and a lot of adults, love our happy Cabot Critters!
