In order to make this pretzel crisps recipe, you’ll need one unpeeled apple of your particular preference (Cortland, Fuji or Granny Smith all work just fine) that’s quartered, cored and sliced. Then you’ll need to gather up two teaspoons of butter, one tablespoon of sugar, a pinch of cinnamon, some cinnamon toast pretzel crisps, and four ounce of Cabot Sharp Light Cheddar or Cabot Sharp Cheddar. Melt the butter in a skillet, and then toss in the apples, letting them brown a bit over the course of five minutes. Add some sugar and keep stirring, and once the apples have browned nicely, add each apple slice to a pretzel crisp. Then top each slice with cheddar and some additional cinnamon. Now doesn’t that sound tasty?
