About Georgia Kostas
Georgia Kostas, MPH, RDN, LD is a nationally recognized, award-winning nutrition consultant, author and speaker. For 25 years, she served as founder and former Nutrition Director of the Cooper Clinic Nutrition Program in Dallas, TX. Today Georgia has her own private practice. She specializes in weight management, wellness, heart health, prevention, and nutrition communications. Georgia consults with individuals, corporate wellness programs, the food industry, restaurants, and governmental groups. She has authored numerous books, including her healthy eating and weight loss workbook called The Cooper Clinic Solution to the Diet Revolution: Step Up to the Plate (2009). Georgia was honored with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetic's Medallion Award for her advancement of the nutrition profession. Her MPH in Nutrition is from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine and her BA in Biology is from Rice University in Houston.
