Donna is a registered dietitian and is a freelance consultant in communications and nutrition.
She is also the owner of the company Envision Nutrition serving the Metro-Atlanta area since 2007. Her passion is working with families facing diet-related chronic health conditions and writing on nutrition topics for consumers.
As a state level public health manager, she was instrumental in organizing farm to school and farm to preschool coalitions and activities in Georgia to increase exposure of young children to healthy local food. Her passion in the field of nutrition started as a community nutritionist in Boston serving disparate communities by creating nutrition programs and outreach. Donna completed her master’s in nutrition science and communications at Tufts University Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy. Her undergraduate degree in nutrition is from Tuskegee University.
