Convenient Hacks You Need To Try Now

We know you already love Cabot Cracker Cuts and Cabot Shredded Cheese. But here are six reasons to love our farmers’ best, even more. Try these quick and fun hacks to up your cheddar game:

HACK #1: Cheese Ball

This delicious and easy-to-make appetizer is perfect for those last-minute summer parties on the porch.
-Mix 2 parts Cabot Cheddar Shredded Cheese to 1 part of your favorite Cabot Dip: Ranch, French Onion, Garden Veggie, Salsa Grande or Sriracha.
-Stir together in a small bowl. By just stirring it should form a ball.
-Place on a small plate and refrigerate until ready to serve.
-If you want to dress it up, cover the cheese ball in your favorite nuts, crushed or whole.

HACK #2: Pizza Crust

For cheese lovers only! (So, everyone.) This makes for the perfect pizza crust:
-Mix 1½ cups of your favorite Cabot Shredded Cheese with one egg, well beaten.
-Place the cheddar in a small cast iron pan, making sure it fills the bottom. Alternately, flatten out the cheddar and egg mixture to desired individual shapes and thickness on a baking sheet.
-Add your toppings!
-Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
-If using a cast iron pan, let cool completely before removing.


HACK #3: Mini Grilled Cheese Sandwiches

Serve these at your kiddo’s tea party, as an app at your next grown-up party, or brown bag them for easy work lunch.
-Combine Cabot Cracker Cuts with mini toasts from the store.

-Toast (don’t forget to coat with Cabot Butter!) on a cast iron pan, waffle iron or Panini press.

HACK #4: Mini Cheese Quesadillas

A fun and easy weeknight dinner; everyone in the family can customize their own!
-Choose your favorite Cabot Shredded Cheese flavor.
-Combine with mini street taco shells.
-Add toppings of your choice (black beans, tomatoes, avocado, onion, etc.)!
-Grill in a pan—preferably cast iron.
-Serve.

HACK #5: Low-Carb Mini Snack Sandwiches

Let your creativity loose here! All you need are:
-Toppings of your choice
-A few combo ideas: ham and cheese, peanut butter and jelly, cucumber sandwiches, beef jerky and cheese, pesto, tomato and cheese.
We pack these puppies for car trips, hiking and boat rides! Here’s how to make them:
-Using thin rice cakes, social tea crackers or English muffins, place one or two Cabot Cracker Cuts in between.
-Place on top of your hot thermos or to-go cup of tea or coffee.
-Let it sit for just a minute or two and by the time you’re ready to hit the door, the cheese will be warm and ready to enjoy.
(Bonus tip: You can also spread honey or fresh jam on one side for a special treat. And don’t tell anyone, but cookies work too!)

Hack#7: Easy, Cheesy Pasta

Take leftover plain pasta to the next level by adding some sauce, a generous sprinkle of Cabot Shredded Cheese, and pop it in the microwave! The quickest dinner around.


Hack #8: Cheese Wrap

Spread your favorite Cabot shredded cheese in a circle on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Cook in the oven at 350 just until lightly browned. Let it cool. Then fill will your favorite sandwich fillings and roll it up for a low carb lunch!

I like to take your Cabot extra sharp white cheddar and shred it. Then drop handfuls on a parchment lined baking sheet and bake at 350° until just starting to brown around the edges. Let cool and enjoy!

I never saw mini toasts in my grocery stores. Are they called something else? Looks like a nice low carb/lower calorie lunch with the small cup of soup as shown.

Re HACK #5: Low-Carb Mini Snack Sandwiches…Nutella is not Low-Carb in any way. Please don’t misinform people, it’s first ingredient is SUGAR and it’s 21 net carbs a serving.
