Casseroles are super efficient – baked in one dish (saving time on clean up) and often make enough for leftovers (efficient!). One of our favorites is our Cheesy Broccoli Casserole. This casserole features our award-winning Cabot Sharp Cheddar for a taste that can’t be beat and a crunchy topping of crushed Ritz crackers that the kids are sure to love. You could even add some leftover cubed chicken to this casserole to make it a meal or serve alongside grilled chicken or those pork chops you stashed in the freezer when they were on sale.

How about saving on delivery charges or the hassle of a wait by making this Ham Mushroom Pizza Bake at home tonight? This dish will quickly become a family favorite and can easily be doubled for a larger crowd. Plus, it costs way less than delivery!

This next recipe – Couscous with Tomatoes, Sautéed Spinach and Two Cheeses – can be whipped up with ingredients you probably already have on-hand in your pantry and fridge. You could even use leftover rice or pasta in place of the couscous and swap fresh spinach with frozen for an easy and satisfying side dish or light main course.

Freshly frozen, farm-raised fish is often a very economical option for those of us who don’t live with a seaport nearby. If you are lucky enough to live along the coast, fresh fish is likely easy to get at a good price. Check with your market’s fish department to find the best prices and quality. Use your favorite white fish in these Grilled Fish Tacos for a different take on Taco Tuesday! These tacos are high in protein and low in fat – customize with your favorite salsa mix or add chopped mango for a delicious topping.

Our final recipes offers a quick twist on mac and cheese. This Cheesy Pasta with Chicken and Broccoli provides a complete and tasty meal in about 20 minutes. Use fresh or frozen broccoli and leftover cooked chicken for a cost-efficient dinner your family will love.
