Crowd-pleasing Gluten-Free Entrees

Whether by choice, or necessity, gluten-free meal ideas are in high demand – and when you’re cooking for a crowd, special meal considerations can be challenging to take on. But you’re in good hands with Cabot! In this post, we will share a handful of excellent, crowd-pleasing gluten-free* recipes.

Our Vegetable and Bean Chili is always a hit. Chili is great for crowds, pot-lucks and family dinners and can be pulled together relatively quickly, or simmered all day in a crockpot or Dutch oven. This chili is packed with veggie goodness and flavor, top with a squeeze of lime juice and some shredded cheddar and enjoy. Add a quick side of grilled cheese made with gluten-free bread for an even heartier meal.


Another crowd-pleaser? The ultra comforting chicken potpie. Our version is made with sweet potatoes, but you could use different or additional veggies per your preference.  This recipe also calls for our own super easy Gluten-Free Pie Crust, but if you’re short on time many retailers now sell a wide variety of gluten-free products so you may be able to find pre-made dough. This recipe makes 8 beautiful, individual servings to warm you and your guests up.


Consider this easy gluten-free alternative to traditional fajitas for your next gathering – Chicken Fajita Bowls with Pineapple Black Bean Salsa. Starting with raw, whole grain, brown rice, topped with spiced chicken, veggies, and delicious Pineapple Black Bean Salsa this recipe is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser.


When you need something quick and easy for a large group, these Cheesy Cheddar Stuffed Turkey Balls are perfect. Served with a spicy cheese dipping sauce, this recipe can easily be doubled and meatballs can be frozen until ready to use.


Nothing will please your crowd more than a delicious, gluten-free dessert! Try our Cheddar Cheese Fudge…yes, cheddar fudge.  You won’t taste the cheddar in this fudge, just ooey-gooey chocolaty fudge, with the added bonus of an extra dose of calcium and protein from the cheese – and only 81 calories per square.
