Hooray!: April is Grilled Cheese Month! And Cabot is kicking off the celebration by inviting you to get your grilled cheese on! The concept is simple: Build our easy Grilled Cheese Bar and host a party.

What: Build-Your-Own Grilled Cheese Bar Party

Who’s invited: Your friends and family.

When: Any night of the week. (This straightforward meal doesn’t take advance planning—just a quick trip to the grocery store and 15 minutes for set up).

Why: It’s simple, fun, delicious and less work for you, the host. You provide guests with an assortment of flavors: they mix and match to make their own grilled cheese masterpieces.

Build The Bar

As host, you will need to provide:

  • An assortment of breads, cheeses, vegetables, proteins and spreads (see below for ideas)
  • Cutting boards and knives for assembly
  • Griddles, large skillets and/or a Panini press for cooking the sandwiches. (You can always ask guests to bring extras from their homes.) We love our Lodge Cast Iron Square Panini Press.
  • Plates and napkins
  • Optional: A pot of tomato soup—the classic pairing for grilled cheese sandwiches. Our Tomato-Cheddar Soup recipe serves 6!

If guests offer to bring something, ask them to supply drinks and dessert! We paired our creations with a lovely Rosé and a variety of delicious beers.
