April is a month of rebirth, as we emerge from a harsh winter and begin to enjoy longer days and warmer weather. It’s also a month of that American favorite – grilled cheese. Celebrating National Grilled Cheese Month is especially fun for everyone at Cabot. We get to show the world just how delicious and versatile The World’s Best Cheddar is on a gooey, cheesy, toasty sandwich. It’s also a great way to showcase the taste of cheddar with so many other delicious foods.

Here are some of our favorite grilled cheese sandwiches, in no particular order.


The Philly Steak & Grilled Cheese is a take on a traditional Philly Cheese Steak, brought to us by Sugar Dish Me blog. It’s so loaded with rich flavor and beefy goodness, you’ll want to make it again and again.


Here’s Cabot’s version of an iconic favorite, the Club Sandwich. The Clubber Grilled Cheese incorporates all of the key components of a club sandwich – turkey, bacon, and cheese – and turns it into a hot, must-try mouthful.



Grilled cheese for breakfast? Well, why not, when it looks this good. Just top your favorite grilled sandwich with a fried egg and your set for a great start to the day!




We think grilled cheese is more fun with friends, so we got together with our friends at Wholly Guacamole to create a wild sandwich with a South-of-the-Border taste that is oozing with creamy guacamole and gooey melted cheese. Try this Hot Habanero Cheddar Grilled Cheese with Guacamole and get ready for a fiesta in your mouth!




Here’s a fun way to start the month with a fun faux grilled cheese April Fools trick from Spoonful. Take slices of toasted pound cake and fill with orange vanilla icing, with the help of a little red and yellow food coloring. Tell them lunch is served and your prank is ready to delight anyone lucky enough to bite into an unexpected dessert!

There are so many amazing combinations to celebrate during this month of Glorious Grilled Cheese, but we’ve saved one of our very favorites for last.
