Happy Cow Appreciation Day!

Today, July 14th 2015, is Cow Appreciation Day. For dairy farmers, their cows are an extension of their family. Farm kids grow up with their favorite calves that they claim as their own, learning the value of loving and caring for the animals before they can even read or write.

No one appreciates #cows like @cabotcheese. 7/14 is #CowAppreciationDay, & there's no finer day to celebrate! http://ow.ly/PyuB3 Click To Tweet

Cows truly are amazing, they provide milk that contains 9 essential nutrients and many other health benefits like bone growth and development. We want to go the extra mile today to thank our wonderful Cabot Cows – they provide us with the best quality milk day after day. Their happiness and healthiness makes each of our farm families and our Co-op successful. Without our lovely Cabot Ladies we wouldn’t be able to make our award-winning Cabot Naturally Aged Cheddar Cheese.

We put together a fun quiz to test your “Cow Knowledge.” Ten people will be chosen randomly from our top scorers to receive a Cabot Cookbook. Good luck!

As we’re waiting for your results were going to go practice our yoga moves with Rachel Freund and her calves.
