Is Cabot cottage cheese lactose free?

    Rachael | July 18, 2018 | 7:46am

It is not. The reason that our cheeses are lactose free is because of the natural aging process which breaks down any remaining lactose. Cottage cheese of course does not have that same process. Hope this helps! ~Rachael

I wanted to forward this to my daughter who’s on a keto diet, but was puzzled when one description noted “fat-free cottage cheese”. She uses full-fat foods on this diet & no carbs, so she wouldn’t be interested in these delicious looking recipes…..

Thanks for the feedback Elaine, of course your daughter could sub our full fat cottage cheese in that recipe! ~Rachael
