Beat the Heat With These No Bake Recipes

Here are our top tips for selecting and assembling no-cook meals:
Choose shelf-stable proteins!
Think dairy!
Smoothie bowls and puddings that are packed with protein from Greek yogurt, milk, kefir or cottage cheese can make a great summertime meal or snack. Try this Green Smoothie Bowl with Avocado or this Cinnamon Raisin Chia Pudding
Keep it simple.
Traditional favorites like sandwiches and snack plates are perfect for nights when you don’t want to cook anything elaborate. Try filling your plate with whole grain crackers, tuna salad, an apple and some Greek yogurt. Or make a cheese board that includes things like nuts, cheese, pickled veggies, crackers, fruit and smoked meats. This Avocado Yogurt Spread would be great on a turkey sandwich! Or try these Famous Cheese Salad Sandwiches.Â
Try something new!
Whether it’s a new nut, seed, fun new vegetable from the farmer’s market or a dried fruit, trying new things help keep your no-cook meals fun and interesting, like our Cheddar-Cranberry Stuffed Apricots! Serve up a new sauce like this Greek Yogurt Tzatziki alongside a classic like hummus with lots of vegetables and pita for dipping.
Don’t forget about no bake desserts!
What’s better than a cool treat on a hot day after dinner? Try this Dark Chocolate Ginger Greek Yogurt Ice Cream!  Or these Greek Yogurt Fruit Popsicles.
Another great way to avoid heating up the kitchen? Using your Slow Cooker! Check out these easy recipes that can cook all day and still keep your kitchen cool.
