A few months ago we teamed up with our friends at the Recipe ReDux for a fun little challenge involving healthy snacks! If you don’t know about ReDux, it is the first and only recipe challenge for food bloggers founded by registered dietitians. ReDux members focus each month on taking delicious dishes and making them healthier while still keeping them delicious! The group was founded on the belief that healthier eating should always taste delicious, a concept we here at Cabot believe in, too.

Along with their monthly themes, The Recipe ReDux also hosts sponsored contests throughout the year. They team up with brands to give members the opportunity to create recipes for a chance to win fun stuff. Here at Cabot, we’re all about good food + fun stuff, so it seemed like a natural fit.
Here’s the challenge we gave them:
Cabot Creamery is challenging Recipe ReDux members to create a healthier snack. From finger foods to hearty apps, lighten up your favorite “big game” or red carpet eats for entertaining.
We allowed their creativity to run wild and were amazed at all the delicious recipes they came up with. Winners were chosen based on taste, appearance & creativity… and picking a favorite wasn’t easy.
With so many great recipes, we also chose a few runner-up prize winners who won Cabot Cheese gift baskets thanks to their recipe creations:
Sonali from The Foodie Physician – Cheesy Sweet Potato Coins with Chipotle Crema
Min from Mj & Hungryman – Baked Asian Chicken and Rice Balls
Selena from The Nutritious Kitchen – Whole Grain Cheesy Pizza Biscuits
Karli from Peas of Cake – Pizza Squares with Cauliflower Crust
Huge thanks to all of the wonderful Recipe ReDuxers who created recipes for our challenge! You can find a link to all the contest entries here.
