Cabot is proud to submit a nomination for a Voices for National Service Award nominating Major (Select) Dr. Romeatrius Nicole Moss, USAF for her commitment to serving our nation as an active duty officer in the USAF and her membership on numerous community boards and committees, including Mississippi Diabetes Coalition, Senior Advisory – Council On Public Health Emergency Preparedness, Head Start Health Advisory Board, Founder/Executive Director of the Mississippi Golf Coast Black Nurses Association, and member of the Mississippi Prenatal Association Board of Directors.

Earlier this month, Dr. Moss organized a fundraiser utilizing the Cabot Farmers’ Gratitude Grille to provide lunches for the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) to raise money for quality of life programs for military families that took place at Hurlbert Field in partnership with Eglin Air Force Base. Dr. Moss also coordinated Cabot support for the October Building Homes for Heroes event to build a new home for triple-amputee, USAF Master Sgt. Joseph Deslauriers and his family. She is the winner of Cabot’s Community Celebrity Award that honors volunteerism across the nation by awarding volunteers with an all-expense paid cruise with other like-minded volunteers.


In addition, Dr. Moss is the recipient of dozens of community awards, six national awards, 4 state awards, and a Governor’s commendation. Please join us in thanking her for her service and wishing her luck!
