Refreshing Mediterranean Recipes

Before diving into our scrumptious recipes, we’ve answered some of the most frequently asked questions about the Mediterranean diet below.

The Mediterranean diet is a centuries-old way of eating that has become a popular diet in our modern culture. With its focus on a healthy, well-rounded lifestyle, rather than being a fad diet that’s not sustainable, it’s being adopted by an increasing number of people who are looking to incorporate healthier eating habits into their daily lives.

This diet prioritizes portion control and eating more real food, rather than focusing on restrictions and deprivation.

The Mediterranean diet can be summarized into three main guidelines, all of which are easy to remember – and also easy to implement. The first being to eat more of a variety of tasty (and good for you!) foods. This includes vegetables and leafy greens, whole grains, fruits, nuts, beans and legumes, olive oil and healthy fats, dairy, seafood, poultry and eggs, as well as herbs and spices. The second is simply to eat less red meat. And the third is to avoid processed foods, foods with added sugars and refined grains.

Here you’ll find a variety of satisfying dishes that are made even better when shared with loved ones. From Mediterranean Turkey Roll-ups and Bulgur, Cucumber Chickpea Salad to Tahini Greek Yogurt Sauce and Greek Yogurt Tzatziki and more, you’ll find a variety of meals that are both healthy and full of delicious flavor – and that your family and friends will rave about!
