New York is home to 500 of Cabot’s 1,000 family farms including two near Norwich, New York where Cassie Sutton was raised. She’s always had a personal connection with food, in terms of quality, health effects and where it comes from. This is why she chose Dietetics, Nutrition and Food Science as her major at the University of Vermont.
With Cabot, she enjoys promoting food products that she truly believes in. Cabot’s combo of quality, sustainability, and commitment to community are all traits she likes to speak with consumers about. When enjoying Cabot cheese, Vermont Extra Sharp is what she is reaching for in the fridge.
Cassie enjoys being active, so in her spare time she enjoys engaging in a variety of activities such as skiing, hiking, cooking, biking, and playing basketball or tennis. She also likes exploring new places and giving back to her community through volunteer work.
