Cornerstone Hospice ensures the highest quality of care for patients and families. The volunteers are a vital part of the entire organization, and play an active role in helping to provide many special comfort and support services that distinguish hopsice care. Today, The Farmers' Gratitude Touring Team is pleased to serve the volunteers who provide such a valued commitment to the hospice program.
Anna Maria Island Turtle Watch & Shorebird Monitoring Program, Anna Maria Island Historical Society and Wildlife, Inc. will gather this morning to thank their wonderful volunteers. In partnership with the Island Community through public education and cooperation, each group contributes an important role in giving back to the community. The Farmers' Gratitude Touring Team will be on on site serving a delicious brunch to the volunteers, thanking them for their community commitment.
The Glasser/Schoenbaum Human Services Center is called the "Campus of Caring" because it is home to over 17 nonprofit health and human services agencies that help low income and at risk adults, children and families. They are a not-for-profit philanthropic proprietor of a five-acre human services campus. On campus, the 17 nonprofits work, meet, collaborate, strategize and communicate every day. The campus is a collection of buildings striving every day to make Sarasota and Manatee a better place to live. The Farmers' Gratitude Touring Team will be on campus serving the volunteers of the "Campus of Caring" and thanking them for their dedication and commitment.
SunCoast Blood Bank provides a liable source of quality blood products and services to hospitals and health centers in need. The Farmers' Gratitude Touring Team is excited to serve the passionate donors and volunteers of this organization with a "Super" Appreciation lunch.
The Cat Depot is a non-profit, free roaming center that is recognized as the largest no kill shelter. The Cat Depot has a progressive design and commitment to helping homeless, abandoned and injured cats and kittens. The Farmers' Gratitude Touring Team is looking forward to serving the dedicated volunteers!
Tidewell Hospice is committed to the advancement of services that support the ebb and flow that are a normal part of life's journey and to optimizing comfort for patients and families. Through education and research, Tidewell fosters the advancement of hospice care and palliative services on the local, state and national levels. The Farmers' Gratitude Touring Team will be on site today to serve the passionate volunteers of this organization.
Mothers Helping Mothers is is an all vlunteer not-for-profit organization that provides basic necessities free of charge to families in need in Sarasota and surrounding counties. The organization run on spirit and energy and the Farmers' Gratitude Touring Team will be serving lunch to these deserving volunteers!
Sarasota Manatee Association for Riding Therapy, Inc. is dedicated to providing their services to as many children and adults in the community with special needs as possible. They provide them the opportunity to develop to their greatest potential. SMART has provided over 35,000 therapuetic riding lessons and program services to over 4000 individuals. Throughout its 30 years, it has been a mostly volunteer powered organization. The Farmers' Gratitude Touring Team will be a part of their annual volunteer appreciation dinner, where the volunteers will be recognized for their efforts throught the year.

Harry Chapin Food Bank was founded in 1983 and their mission is to lead the community in the fight to end hunger. Serving five counties in Southwest Florida: Charlotte, Collier, Glades, Hendry and Lee counties, the food bank rescues, inspects, transports and distributes donated food and other grocery products to more than 150 partner agencies that provide direct service to those in need. Today, the Farmers' Gratitude Touring Team is happy to serve the wonderful volunteers who contribute their efforts to make this happen.
