Quality Assurance Project Coordinator

Cabot, VT

We have an immediate full-time opening at our Cabot, VT facility for a QA professional. This position will handle multiple tasks that require independent data analysis, research and interpretation. This includes State Water Requirements, IDP Reporting for Department of Environmental Conservation and EPA Right-to-know. Responsible for managing the Document Control program for SQF while complying with regulatory agencies throughout projects. The Quality Assurance Project Coordinator is accountable for sourcing and implementing new test procedures, Interpret the NLEA regulations for labeling and implement and provides vacation relief for Sanitarian and labelling / QA Specialist functions, and QA Administration (hold and release, order supplies).

The successful applicant will possess a Bachelor’s in Science or related field.  HAACP knowledge or willingness to attend outside training to teach classes.  Instruct employees on food handling and food safety topics.  Must have strong people and communication skills.  Ability to work independently without direct supervision while maintaining confidentiality.  Work effectively with a team as well as with other departments throughout the company.  Advanced computer skills including Windows, Excel and Word and attention to detail is a must.
