As a Cabot farmer-owner, Rachael Freund understands first-hand the hard work that goes into dairy farming. She knows the pride dairy farmers take in producing quality milk that is crafted into award-winning cheese. Rachael and her family operate Freund’s Farm in East Canaan, Connecticut.
Rachel is the herd manager on the farm, making sure their herd of 300 cows are happy and healthy, producing the highest quality milk. This summer, Rachel was to set out on a cross-country drive to explore the open road. She linked up with Cabot and will be on the road with her companion Cole, spreading the Cabot love far and wide!
She looks forward to meeting cheese lovers across the country, while also taking in the countryside on her cross-country trek. As for her favorite Cabot product, Rachel reaches for the classic Vermont Sharp Cheddar when looking for a snack.
