The tang of Greek Yogurt and the fresh taste of dill make this Buttermilk Dressing a wholesome, flavorful addition to any green salad. You can also try it as a substitute for plain mayonnaise in chicken or tuna salad for a yummy change of pace.
⅓ cup mayonnaise
⅓ cup Cabot Lowfat Plain Greek Yogurt
3 tablespoons chopped or grated onion
2 teaspoons of chopped garlic
2 teaspoons of finely chopped fresh dill, or 1 teaspoon dried
½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
½ cup buttermilk, plus more if needed
Dash of hot sauce
COMBINE all the dressing ingredients in a large bowl, and mix until well blended and smooth. You can change the texture of the dressing, depending on taste, by adding more buttermilk to thin or yogurt to thicken.
COVER and refrigerate until ready to use.
