6 to 8 ounces Cabot Farmhouse Reserve Cheddar, Cabot Vintage Choice Cheddar, Cabot Private Stock Cheddar, or Cabot New York Vintage Cheddar
2 tablespoons chopped walnuts, toasted if desired
2 tablespoons chopped dried cherries or other dried fruits such as figs, cranberries, dates, apricots, plums, currants or raisins
1½ tablespoons honey
Whole grain crackers
Slices fresh apples and/or pears, tossed with lemon juice to prevent browning
Get the ingredients you need at a convenient nearby location.
PLACE cheese on serving plate or board (let stand at room temperature for about 30 minutes if time allows).

I found this receipt last year…LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! It is always a HUGE hit at our get togethers and there is never one piece leftover. I’ve also made it with almonds and dried blueberries. A "fancy" appetizer that can be thrown together but looks like you’ve spent a lot of time in the kitchen.
