This is such a tasty and easy dish to make. It tastes fresh and I love the flavors. Tastes a lot better than other broccoli casseroles I’ve made. Highly recommend.
I worked at a large supermarket for 20+ years and this was one of our deli specialties. I have been trying to replicate it for years. No need to look any further…this is the recipe. Try it. It is delicious. I did substitute panko bread crumbs for the Ritz crackers. I thought that they were too rich and overpowered the other ingredients.
Made this dish for Easter Sunday Dinner and it was a huge hit! Had the ingredients on hand already and was a cinch to make. Been told that this is one of the dishes I am to bring to our "gatherings;."
Will certainly make this casserole again!
Thanks to the PAPAS Farmer's family for placing this in the Cabot Creamery Cookbook.
We’ve been making this recipe for years and we always get such great compliments on how it tastes. If you’re looking for an awesome addition to Thanksgiving dinner, Christmas, or any party for that matter, this is it!!
I’ve made this several times and everyone loves it!! This will be on our Thanksgiving table this year. Other than adding a little extra cheese and using fresh broccoli that has been steamed, I keep the recipe exactly as written. Delicious!
This is a family favorite in our house! I substituted the crushed ritz crackers for Panko Bread crumbs…so good and hearty!
