8 ounces Cabot Extra Sharp Cheddar or Cabot Garlic & Herb Cheddar grated (about 2 cups)
¼ cup Cabot Sour Cream2 tablespoons Cabot Salted Butter, cut into small pieces
2 tablespoons white wine or apple juice
Large pinch ground mace or nutmeg
Pinch ground red pepper (cayenne)
Get the ingredients you need at a convenient nearby location.
COMBINE all ingredients in food processor and process until smooth. (Alternatively, use electric mixer to blend ingredients; spread will have coarser texture.) Serve with whole-grain crackers, rounds of French bread or slices of fresh apple and pear.
