Kale chips are the perfect homemade snack when you’re craving something crunchy and salty, but healthy too. If you’ve never had kale chips before, you’re going to want to go ahead and give this kale chip recipe with cheddar by Cape Fear Nutrition a try. Drizzled with olive oil and fresh lemon juice and sprinkled with minced garlic, Himalayan salt and King Arthur Better Cheddar Cheese Powder, these kale chips are pretty addictive. We have a feeling you’ll be making them often!
To make 6-8 servings of kale chips, begin by preheating your oven to 400°F.
While oven is preheating, pat dry washed kale leaves using paper towels.
Add 6 kale leaves to a bowl, drizzle with 1 tablespoon olive oil, 1 minced garlic clove and the juice of half a fresh lemon. Use your hands to massage into kale.
Repeat above procedure until you have used all kale leaves.
Place kale leaves individually on baking sheets, being sure not to over crowd. Sprinkle with Himalayan salt.
Place in oven and bake for about 12 minutes, until crispy.
Remove from oven. Serve chips on a platter after dusting with King Arthur Better Cheddar Cheese Powder.
