Cabot’s Greek Yogurt makes a healthy protein-rich treat when blended with fresh fruits for quick and yummy smoothies. We love to use our Lowfat Vanilla Bean, because vanilla just seems to make fruit flavors bloom. But you can use Plain Greek Yogurt for any of these recipes as well (add ½ teaspoon vanilla extract and 2 teaspoons of sugar if you like).
½ cup Cabot Lowfat Vanilla Bean Greek Yogurt½ large sweet apple, such as Jonagold or Golden Delicious, peeled and diced (about ½ cup)
¼ cup sweetened dried cranberries
2 tablespoons lowfat (1%) milk
⅛ teaspoon ground cinnamon
4 small ice cubes
COMBINE all ingredients in blender. Blend for about one full minute until cranberries and ice are well pureed.
